Host a Conference

US Empowered hosts a number of college conferences throughout the year so that Fellows can see college life firsthand. These conferences often include:

• Student Panels
• Student Tours
• Student Performances
• Admissions Presentations
• Special Events/Performances
• Workshops
• Mock Classes
• Meals in student cafeteria

We also host several other conferences at college with other specific objectives. These conferences include:

• Essay Coaches, which guides high school seniors to prepare excellent college application essays.
• Financing College 101, which assists high school seniors and their families to file their taxes and the FAFSA.
• Freshman Launch, designed to prepare new college freshmen for their first semester.
• Freshman Reunion, where students reinvest in their college careers, share experiences and best practices, and plan for second semester.
