Our Model
US Empowered aims to make college possible for all of urban America by purposefully targeting underperforming students. Our students make transformational academic gains throughout the three-year program spanning junior and senior years of high school through freshman year of college. Each student shares the same overarching goal: to enroll in and graduate from a competitive four-year university. US Empowered students have been admitted to universities such as Harvard University, Howard University, Morehouse College, Northwestern University, and the University of Michigan.
Every aspect of our five-part
model is designed to rigorously improve student outcomes and drive our students towards college graduation. Our success, and that of our students, is a product of the five part model:
